Leadership Development Workshop Facilitator - San Francisco, Bay Area
Maya Kraft is a leadership-development facilitator, coach, and former operating executive who helps leaders communicate more effectively, navigate difficult moments, and build stronger teams.
Her approach combines practical business experience with a deep belief that greater self-awareness changes how we lead, collaborate, and respond under pressure.
LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE FROM THE INSIDE
Before founding Maya Kraft Consulting, Maya spent 20 years in the corporate sector, serving in leadership roles that included Chief Operating Officer, Chief People Officer, and Co-President of a global regulatory services firm.
While growing and scaling organizations, Maya experienced many of the challenges leaders face every day: stepping into unfamiliar responsibilities, handling difficult conversations, building trust, navigating change, and shaping culture intentionally.
She also experienced the transformative effect of coaching and leadership development firsthand. That experience inspired her to help other leaders build the confidence, awareness, and practical skills needed to lead well.
PRACTICAL, ENGAGING DEVELOPMENT
Maya works with executive teams, managers, boards, and staff across organizations of all sizes. Her clients include hospital and healthcare groups, nonprofits, startups, growing companies, and large international organizations.
Every engagement begins with an understanding of the organization, its people, and the change it hopes to create. Maya then designs an experience that connects leadership concepts to the real situations participants encounter at work.
Her facilitation is warm, candid, and highly interactive. Participants have space to learn about themselves, better understand one another, and practice approaches they can apply immediately.
TOOLS THAT CREATE A SHARED LANGUAGE
Maya frequently uses DiSC to help leaders and teams understand behavioral and communication styles, work through differences, and collaborate more effectively.
Depending on the needs of the group, she may also incorporate CliftonStrengths, The Six Types of Working Genius, or other leadership-development tools into a customized program.
In 2019, Maya trained with Dr. Brené Brown and became a certified Dare to Lead™ facilitator. She offers Dare to Lead™ programs for organizations seeking to develop greater courage, trust, vulnerability, and values-based leadership.
MAYA’S PHILOSOPHY
Who we are is how we lead.
The more we understand what motivates us, how we communicate, and how we respond to stress and uncertainty, the more intentionally we can show up for the people around us.
Maya creates thoughtful, engaging learning experiences that help leaders turn that awareness into meaningful action—for themselves, their teams, and their organizations.
